With rich experiences in delivering all-English course to international students, Professor Kukulski prepared detailed slides and demonstrated tax cases by drawing charts and tables in the blackboard in order to make his speech easily understood by Chinese students. Our Chinese students really appreciated his presentation in the class and prepared one thank-you gift to him and also took a collective photo with him for memory at the end of the course.

Third, he presented how the Faculty of Law and Administration provided intensive tax law courses with significant teaching hours to students and how to cooperate with the Faculty of Management to deliver accounting courses to students, and he stressed that this diversity in faculty had achieved significant effect, for instance, the faculty of Law and Administration ranked the second in Poland and their graduates were acknowledged as very popular and competitive by Polish employers. Finally, he presented the strong academic network of the Tax Documentation and Study Center, for instance, one of the Center’s major partners is International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (“IBFD”) situated in Amsterdam of Netherland, and the Center has already organized a few International Taxation conferences whose paper contributors came from Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia.

Under the general cooperation agreement between Shanghai Finance University and University of Lodz, Professor Kukulski also drafted an executive agreement between School of Finance and Public Administration of Shanghai Finance University and Tax Documentation and Study Center of University of Lodz. The executive agreement has already been signed by Dean of School of Finance and Public Administration of Shanghai Finance University and will hopefully be signed by the Tax Documentation and Study Center of University of Lodz by early March 2016.

The short-term exchange program of international faculty has already set up a good role model for our further exchange and cooperation in more fields. We are looking forward to continuing the international exchange and cooperation either in teaching or scientific research.
