School of Accounting


The School of Accounting is one of the largest schools in the SFU Faculty. Our undergraduate degree students get practical qualifications which are recognized world-wide. Our courses and research interact closely with the professions, government and community organizations , focusing on Shanghai international financial center studies. Through innovative, relevant and continuing education we anticipate and meet the needs of the various stakeholders of SFU.

The School is based at the University's Pudong Campus , There are currently 37 full time staff, there are also part time lectures and professors from industries. The School of Accounting was formed on 1st March 2007 (it was regrouped by combining the Departments of Accounting and Financial Management) as part of Shanghai Finance University's restructuring. The School offers a range of courses combining the core areas of Accounting and Financial Management with a number of specialized courses based on the research interests of the faculty. The Schools group of programs is oriented to business areas which are expected to continue to provide expanding job opportunities and are likely to contribute to the development of Shanghai's economic base.
